Dr. Chanda G. Simmons is the founder of Agape Deliverance Ministries. She is a visionary leader, anointed Pastor and teacher, sought-after guest speaker, Chaplain Instructor for Grace School of Ministry, and the acclaimed author of the book “Help! I’ve Fallen – I Can’t Get Up”. She is known as the host of her own talk show, “Be Free with Dr. Chanda G & Lady D” which airs live weekly on the “Be Free with Dr. Chanda G & Lady D” Facebook page. 

Her ministry is dedicated to advancing the kingdom of God in the earth by providing hope and preparing people to be set free from spiritual bondages and barriers that hold them back from walking in the victory that Jesus won on the cross. She has a passion for souls and is gifted in raising spiritual leaders for the Kingdom.

In 2016, Dr. Simmons became one of the first two Women elevated to the office of District Elder in the Southern California District Council 67th Episcopal of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World where she served as a District Elder for several years.

Dr. Simmons is a graduate of the Apostolic International University of El Cajon, Ca. She holds a bachelor’s degree in counseling, a master’s degree in counseling, and a Doctoral degree in counseling. She additionally served on the staff of Apostolic International University as an instructor from 2015 to 2020.

Dr. Simmons is a graduate of El Cajon’s Civilian Police Academy and serves on the San Diego Standing in the Gap, an organization comprised of pastors of various denominations who are committed to working together to bridge the gap between the San Diego Police Chiefs and Sheriffs and the community to defuse delicate issues.

Dr. Simmons is the proud Mother of two daughters, Simone and Sheliea, and the grandmother of Kaleb Murray.
